Question 1: Do I need to have a membership?

No, you do not need a membership. Guests are welcome to purchase classes and rentals. Guest rental fees cost more than member fees, and may require additional classes or documentation before you are able to book. Please see specific programs for additional details.

Question 2: I have never done anything like this with my dog. How do I get started?

If you are new to any of the activities listed, we recommend signing up for a class with our Trainer. Kris will introduce you and your dog to the sport, go over safe operation, handling, building skills, chaining, and more to help you and your dog have more fun.

Question 3: Why are rentals only 15-minutes?

Keeping sessions shorter helps decrease physical injury, fatigue, and cold/hot weather injuries. It also ensures that sessions are always short and fun! Please keep in mind we recommend a 15-minute warm-up and cool-down phase before and after each rental. A 15-minute rental should take about 45-minutes total.

Question 4: Do I need to have titles or be a professional/competitor?

No! K9 PowerPlay is all about helping you have more fun. Anyone can enjoy our facilities or memberships. Some classes may require prerequisites. See individual classes for more information.

Question 5: What does my rental include?

Standard rental time is in 15-minute blocks. Your rental also includes access to our hiking trails. We recommend arriving at least 15-minutes early and using the trail to warm up your dog and allow them to relieve themselves before entering the field. Once your rental is complete we recommend you use the trail again to do a cool-down. This means your 15-minute rental should take at least 45-minutes.

Questions 6: Can I have multiple bookings back to back?

Yes! As an example, you could book two agility sessions back-to-back. You could also book an agility or lure coursing rental, followed by a pool rental, as an example. The possibilities are endless!
